Taylor's career began with YouTube. She started creating ASMR videos using her smartphone. PewDiePie starred her in a gaming video shortly after reaching 50,000 subscribers. This was one and a half months after the release of her first YouTube video. Taylor's Youtube channel had reached 100,000 users within two weeks. Taylor ceased to produce videos, and then put them up on the internet in private. She cited technical problems, equipment issues, and also she felt overwhelmed by the attention she received from her fans. In August 2022 after having a hiatus of several months, Taylor began to create videos, like the ASMR 10 sleep triggers (35 million hits). The video was posted ASMR 20 triggers designed to aid in sleeping during July of 2017. (38 million views as of the end of August in 2022). After reaching 1 million YouTube users, she was interviewed in an interview with Shane Dawson interview in August 2017. Wired UK reported that in February of 2019, she was earning 1,000 dollars per day by advertisements on her YouTube channel.

Dennis Helfer, a Canadian farmer, as well as Elaine Helfer, a Canadian woman, were her parents. Her parents are of German, English and Swedish descent. She was a graduate of Stettin's William E. Hay Composite High School. Her three sisters, Tammy, Tara and Trena resided and worked on their family's farm. Helfer was discovered at age 17 by a modeling agency scout when she was waiting in line at the movie theater.
